Help and advice

How do I apply for a new gas supply to my home, or have my existing supply moved or disconnected?

You can apply online to get a quote for a new household gas connection, alteration or disconnection.

How long will the process take?

Household customers: Every job is different, but you can check our current leadtimes on the applications pages.

Once we’ve processed your documents and received payment, our nearest office will call you within seven working days to discuss the details of your work and to arrange a start date.

You can tell us about any urgency or special requirements at this point. We’ll try to finish the job within two working days, and restore any areas of your property that we’ve disturbed within five working days wherever possible.
